The National Directory of Extension and Advisory Service Providers helps users find this expertise more easily. AgriFutures Australia commissioned this first edition to improve visibility across the sector. The directory includes 115 voluntarily submitted entries from providers around the country. Each listing contains contact details, geographic coverage, industries served, services offered, areas of expertise, and a short profile.

The directory acts as both a practical reference tool and a browsable resource. It provides a clearer picture of extension capability across Australia. It supports capability-building activities and helps guide future investment decisions.

By bringing this information together, the directory encourages collaboration and improves transparency. It also strengthens coordination across Australia’s agricultural research, development, and extension system. Importantly, it highlights the breadth of expertise available to rural industries.
