The Australian Rice Conference brings together growers, researchers and industry to share knowledge, celebrate innovation and work towards a stronger, more sustainable future. Held in the heart of rice country, the 2025 conference will take place in the Leeton region from 6 to 8 August.
This year’s program centres around the theme 100 Years of Rice: Honouring the Past, Cultivating the Future. The event will spotlight cutting-edge research, sustainability initiatives, and reflect on the past 100 years of the Australian rice industry.
A feature of the program is the AgriFutures Rice Technical Research Update, that will showcase the current projects within the AgriFutures Rice Program. Researchers will have the opportunity to present their latest findings, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and explore collaborations that could shape the future of Australian rice production.
