AgriFutures Australia and Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAFFI) are inviting all those who are interested in analysing opportunities and challenges regarding genetic improvement in emerging Australian agricultural Industries to a live webinar taking place hosted by QAFFI Research Fellow/Senior Research Officer, Dr Bradley Campbell.
This webinar presents a collaborative project by UQ, QUT, Griffith University, and Food Innovation partners to enhance genetic and genomic investments in 22 emerging industries. It reviews the status of Australian crop and animal industries, the demand for superior genetic material, available resources, and regulatory factors. The talk will cover the project’s scope, information-gathering methods and assessment criteria for industry access to superior genetic resources.
