International Herbage Seed Group Conference Travel Bursary
About
The AgriFutures Pasture Seeds Program is providing an opportunity for those in the Pasture Seed Industry to upskill their knowledge and broaden networks at the 12th International Herbage Seed Group Conference on the 16-19 of November 2025.
Attendees can expect to witness latest research developments in pasture (herbage) seed research, and connect with local and international growers, seed production researchers, agronomists and seed company representatives.
This opportunity will provide travel bursaries for up to three (3) pasture seed growers to support attendance at the conference. The bursary will cover flights/travel, accommodation and conference tickets. The International Herbage Seed Group (IHSG) in partnership with Tasmanian Seed Industry Group (TSIG) is proud to bring the 12th IHSG conference to Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. IHSG has endeavoured to encourage cooperation and communication between workers actively engaged in herbage seed production research for the past 40 years.
TSIG is the peak industry body representing pasture and vegetable seed producers in Tasmania. They endeavour to identify opportunities to support the continued growth of the seed production industry in Tasmania through profitable production and sustainable farming systems; seed quality and purity; and promoting industry communication and connection. For more information about conference, please visit TSIG’s IHSG 2025 page. The AgriFutures Pasture Seed Program invests in research, development and extension (RD&E) to support a sustainable and prosperous industry amidst changing environmental, trade and political climates.
