I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. I spent most of my childhood in Sydney before relocating to Mudgee as a teenager. Throughout high school, my interest in agriculture was ignited and developed thanks to passionate teachers and engagement with peers from farming families and rural backgrounds.
The Australian agricultural industry has incredible depth and diversity, which makes it extremely exciting. I am passionate about supporting farmers and rural communities in becoming well equipped to ‘farm for the future’. This interest extends to encompass the development and integration of innovative science and technology-based solutions within the sector.
It is a privilege to have been awarded an AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship – this is a great opportunity which will allow me to learn, develop and grow. The Scholarship will also provide me with invaluable insight into potential professional pathways upon completion of my degree.
