Simon Henderson is President of the Australian Ginger Industry Association and brings extensive leadership experience across aviation and agriculture. A former RAAF member, he served in the first Gulf War and later held senior training and management roles with Australian and international airlines. Simon has served on several regulatory panels and is a qualified lead auditor. He holds a doctorate and was awarded the Flight Safety Foundation Award for Achievement in Human Factors and Flight Safety. Simon is focused on strengthening governance, safety and industry capability, supporting the continued growth and resilience of the Australian ginger sector.
