This project takes forward earlier research on securitisation in the Report Efficient Equity and Credit Financing for the Rural Sector: New directions in rural and agribusiness finance (RIRDC Publication 01/117) by analysing in more depth and by developing a practical model for securitisation. This research project aims to provide a reference document and a platform for the progressive take-up and commercialisation of securitisation techniques in Australian agriculture.
