DownloadThe Community Trust in Rural Industries (CTRI) program is an annual national program of work that seeks to understand and track what drives trust and acceptance towards rural industries in the Australian community. 2025 represents the sixth year of research providing valuable insights into community attitudes toward farmers, fishers, foresters, and other key aspects of Australian agriculture. Australians consistently recognise the importance of rural industries, but maintaining trust requires ongoing effort in critical areas such as responsible operation, animal welfare, industry awareness and responsiveness.
Over 29,000 Australians have participated in the CTRI survey since it first began in 2019. This year we collected responses from 4,301 survey participants.
