This publication considers some of the ways that the visual and performing arts can influence environmental behaviour, and how they can be utilised to promote environmental sustainability. It analyses data from several case studies, interviews with key informants and overseas field work, coupled with review of the literature. It is aimed at professionals and funding bodies working in natural resource management (nrm) and a companion publication provides guidance to on how to make better use of the visual and performing arts in nrm programs
