The AgriFutures Australia Emerging Industries Program is supporting the expansion of the Australian industry through a $2.5 million program of research focused on improved hemp seed and varieties, production methods, industry sustainability and the development of hemp-based products.

This fact sheet seeks to support new growers in South WA to participate in the industry with general advice for varietal selection and how to connect with experts in the field through the nationally coordinated Industrial Hemp Variety Trials (IHVT).
