The aim of this workshop was to provide a venue for specialists in livestock production, agronomy, ecology, botany, and agroforestry to meet and discuss the current state of knowledge on the use of perennial shrub species in grazing systems. The outcome was to chart the future direction of research, with the goal of developing multipurpose grazing systems based on native perennial shrubs in mixed forage systems.
