In February 1995, RIRDC organised a workshop to discuss issues and problems of equine nutrition and pastures. It brought together 27 leading researchers, breeders, farmers and horse owners from around the country to review the existing situation and to help plan for the future.
The wide range of participants contributed valuable perspectives aimed at improving management of pastures and feeds for mares, young horses and performance and recreational animals.
