This project addresses the information required to proceed with the number 4 priority in the Deer Industry Five Year Plan which is “Human Capital Formation, Industry Organization & Communications. In particular the project aims to improve the commercial relevance of deer industry R&D planning and improve the representation and communication of deer industry participants.

Objective Summary

To achieve widespread dissemination and use of R&D information by the deer industry and to ensure that the industry is kept up to date by:
• Making the Australian Deer Farming (ADF) Magazine, a 24 page publication, available to all deer farmers currently on the RIRDC and DIAA Lists.
• Using the ADF magazine as the vehicle by which all RIRDC news and information is disseminated.
