Summary

AgriFutures requires the development of a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and report for the Emerging Insect Technology Hub as part of the AgriFutures Emerging Industries Program to enable effective identification and management of privacy impacts within the Hub from its inception. Due to the public nature of the Hub and involvement of various Australian and East African industry stakeholders and science partners, SiTU understands that a robust assessment is required to ensure all privacy risks are
identified and appropriately mitigated.
SiTU will conduct the PIA in accordance with “Our Approach and Project Plan” detailed in the response to the RFQ dated 19 July 2022 and the Privacy Impact Assessment Framework attached at Appendix A, ensuring compliance with the APPs and the Code and taking into account the size, complexity and risks of the project. SiTU will undertake the assessment within a four week project timeframe.
SiTU will also align its approach with the OAIC’s ‘Privacy Impact Assessment Tool – May 2020′ and will utilise the AgriFutures template for the Emerging Insect Technology Hub.

Objective Summary

The aim of this project is to provide AgriFutures Australia with a Privacy Impact Assessment and Report which the Program can utilise to ensure that any potential privacy impacts for the Emerging Insect Technology Hub are identified, and risk mitigation strategies are implemented to address these impacts from the inception of the Emerging Insect Technology Hub.
