AgriFutures is currently conducting a research project aiming to further improve workforce attraction and retention in the rural industries. As part of this bigger project, we currently seek past, current and future workers for a short online to learn about their experiences and perceptions of working in the industry.
The Community Perceptions and Worker Experiences’ Project, administered by AgriFutures Australia helps understand and monitor national drivers of attraction and retention in Australian agriculture.
As part of the project, we currently undertaking quantitative research aiming to better understand the perceptions of the community and the experiences of past, current and future workers about working in Australian rural industries. The survey seeks opinions on a broad range of topics relating to experiences and perceptions of Australian agriculture industries and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Community members aged 18 years and older, who live and/or work in Australia are invited to participate.

The Community Perceptions and Workforce Experiences’ Survey is being conducted by Voconiq, an independent community engagement and data science company. Using a proven science-based approach, developed over a decade within CSIRO, Voconiq records community views and opinions across the world, providing companies, industry and government with valuable insights to inform business practices and help communities shape their future.
