The National Winner and Runner Up of the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award will be announced at a Gala Dinner and National Announcement on Tuesday, 12 September 2023 at the Great Hall, Parliament House in Canberra. The highly anticipated event celebrates female-led ingenuity in rural and regional Australia and limited tickets are now on sale.

2022 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award National Winner, Stephanie Trethewey will be the event MC and the black-tie evening will be attended by alumni, government officials, industry and private sector representatives and media. The black-tie event is open to the public to purchase tickets here.

AgriFutures Australia Managing Director, John Harvey says the prestigious Award acknowledges the committed network of community leaders who are dedicated to creating positive impact in rural and regional Australia.

“The event is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of the 2023 National Finalists, and we look forward to celebrating the achievements of these remarkable women and inspiring the next generation of female leaders in rural and regional industries, businesses and communities,” said Mr Harvey.

To support significant professional development opportunities, all seven National Finalists will receive a $1,500 grant from Westpac. The National Runner Up will receive an additional $15,000, and the National Winner will receive an additional $20,000.
