This publication uses benchmarking to measure the impact of management changes on underlying business performance. Although improved business performance cannot completely mitigate the effects of drought or falls in commodity prices, it can put a business in a better position to perform well under a range of conditions.
The report presents information from a number of case study properties and draws out the links between changes in the indicators and management strategies. It also looks at the process of using key performance indicators to measure the economic, financial, ecological and human resource management issues in a business.
