Maximum Yield Research: Assessing Limitations to Farming Systems, was an investigation into increasing the productivity of peanut and maize crops and into the viability of a rice-cotton cropping system in the tropics.

The research was conducted on the Atherton Tablelands and in the Burdekin River Irrigation Area, Queensland between 1994 and 1996.

This report is the outcome of a project that was jointly funded by the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation, Peanut Company of Australia, Queensland Cotton and the Queensland Department of Primary Industries.
