Bioenergy Australia is a government-industry forum fostering the development of bioenergy as a future source of sustainable energy. A consortium of Australian organisations, convened by Bioenergy Australia, has been participating in the International Energy Agency’s Bioenergy program Task entitled ‘Short Rotation Crops for Bioenergy Systems’. This project has led to close collaboration with leading international experts developing short rotation crops for energy and other value-added co-products and co-values. It has allowed interaction and joint work on a variety of technical and socio-economic issues related to the growing of energy crops. 2004, 29pp, Pub No 04/133: $16
