This report outlines progress in the development of artificial insemination technology for ratites and game birds such as, pheasants, pekin ducks, and Japanese quails. A number of major constraints to efficient production of ducks, pheasants, and quail are identified, and potential remedies or further appropriate investigative action is suggested.
