Summary

PHA to provide program leadership, secretariat and facilitation for the development of a draft Australian Beekeeping Code of Practice and draft National Bee Biosecurity Program.
In September 2014, the project was expanded to include Phase 2, Implementation of the National Bee Biosecurity Program.

Objective Summary

1) Develop a draft Australian Beekeeping Code of Practice withthe support of the established Plant Health Committee (PHC) Working Group and industry nominated officials by May 2013
2) Develop a draft National Bee Biosecurity Program with the support of the established Plant Health Committee (PHC) Working Group and industry nominated officials by May 2013
3) To present the draft Australian Beekeeping Code of Practice and draft National Bee Biosecurity Program to all of the six state beekeeping conferences in 2014 for discussion and endorsement
