• guest speakers
• field days and visits to appropriate sites eg SCU
• relevant information placed on the association’s website
• workshops
• development of farm signage relating to biosecurity protocols

Objective Summary

1. To improve communications with our members.
2. To increase members’ involvement in industry activities.
3. To communicate the necessity for and associated protocols for the proposed Biosecurity Plan.
4. To incorporate the Biosecurity Plan in the Growers Manual.
5. To update sections of the Growers Manual and distribute the same to growers.
6. To inform members of R&D projects especially the new varietals project with SCU.
7. To continually update the website with relevant information.
