Value of Pollination in the Australian Economy

Summary

The project will review previous studies into the economic value of pollination in Australia and overseas and review the various methods that these studies have utilized. The methods used will be evaluated against a conceptual economic framework for the valuation of impacts. The conceptual economic framework will then be implemented to provide an updated, defendable, and transparent estimate of the economic value of honey bee pollination to the Australian economy. The transparency of the analysis will facilitate future replication of the valuation exercise.
