Join us for a webinar to explore the AgriFutures Rice Program Research, Development & Extension (RD&E) Plan 2027-2032. The next five-year RD&E Plan will guide levy funded investment from 2027 to 2032 to support the future prosperity of the Australian rice industry.
This session will walk through the key elements of the draft RD&E Plan and how they direct future investment across the rice industry. Stakeholders will have the opportunity to ask questions and share insights. Growers, researchers and industry representatives are encouraged to take part and help shape the final direction of the Plan.
The webinar builds on consultation with the Australian rice industry. Growers and industry stakeholders have been closely involved in the process of developing the new RD&E Plan, with direct opportunities to provide feedback on industry challenges, emerging issues and research priorities. This input has been gathered through a range of consultation activities, including a future scenario planning exercise designed to test RD&E priorities against a range of possible production and industry settings.
