Support for evokeAG, our unique international technology event, has continued to grow and has generated significant interest from the food and farming community. Just recently, the Hon David Littleproud, Federal Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources officially endorsed the AgriFutures Australia event in a video statement.

AgriFutures Australia has welcomed the Australian Government’s support for the 2019 Melbourne event.

Managing Director, John Harvey said that it’s important that we work in collaboration with all our stakeholders including government, farmers, innovators and investors to ensure evokeAg is different to anything before in this space.

“We want the brightest minds working together towards one goal – to power prosperity by connecting agriculture, food and its communities to technology,” My Harvey said.

In a video statement, the Hon David Littleproud MP supported the 2019 event, as this kind of innovation will be important and could help his government reach their goal to grow agricultural production in Australia to $100 billion dollars by 2030.

“We can do this by putting the world’s best minds in agriculture in direct contact with Aussie farmers to see new and innovative ideas spread rapidly across the country.

“If we want to grow the industry we need to be smart we need to share our knowledge so the whole community can benefit,” he said.

At evokeAG, recognised leaders, farmers, innovators and investors from Australia and overseas will share and explore new directions for the next generation of food and farming. The event is about connecting people who are passionate about embracing the practical application of new technologies to solve real problems in the real world.
