The purpose of this travel was to attend and present a poster at LAB 9, and to visit several research groups at UCC. The poster was successfully presented during poster viewing sessions throughout the course of the symposium. Meetings with academics from the UCC took place in Ireland prior to the commencement of LAB 9.
The poster was displayed to approximately 650 delegates from around the world who were present at the LAB 9 symposium. The symposium provided significant lactic acid bacteria industry information relevant to RIRDC’s chicken meat program in Australia, in particular relating to the RIRDC project PRJ-000573.
