The program calculates the profitability of an agroforestry project at the paddock scale in comparison with existing agricultural land uses. It is designed to support the decision making of landholders who are considering an investment in agroforestry and draws heavily on the expertise of local advisers who can provide a ‘best bet’ estimation of how trees will perform in a variety of local conditions.
