The aim of this research and development project was to build effective, reliable, safe electrical equipment for the stunning and safe capture of crocodiles. Crocodiles are aggressive, dangerous animals and never more so than when people are attempting to capture them. There are several reported incidents in Australia where people have either been killed or had serious injury inflicted upon them by farmed crocodiles. In Africa many people have also been seriously injured working with farmed crocodiles.
