The EcoRange project provides marketing information and strategies for ‘environment-friendly’ food and fibre products, describes and contrasts a range of market-oriented environmental management and certification schemes that could be used on farms, and makes recommendations on the application of these to agricultural production. As part of this project, an investigation of the perceptions of industry, conservation and consumer groups about environmental certification was carried out.
