This research analysed Nosema spp. and viruses in response to supplementary pollen feeding and different autumn foraging environments. The findings highlight the potential for increasing pollen availability in autumn as a disease management strategy, but question the cost-benefit of achieving this through prophylactic use of pollen supplements.
