This final report presents the Australian Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Sector Energy Transition Roadmap 2026–2035, a comprehensive, sector‑led plan to guide the transition from diesel‑dependent energy systems to affordable, reliable and low‑emissions alternatives.

Developed through extensive co‑design with industry, government, energy providers and researchers, the roadmap sets out a 10‑year implementation framework across electrification and renewable fuels, supported by actions spanning technology, infrastructure, supply chains, policy, workforce capability and data.

The report provides detailed analysis, clear goals and priority actions to help producers, processors, policymakers and investors coordinate efforts, reduce energy risk, strengthen fuel security and support productivity while aligning with national emissions targets.
