This RIRDC project engaged Aboriginal people from five remote communities in producing 14 videos on knowledge of bush food, bush medicine, seasons, tracking and hunting, waterholes, landscape processes, impacts of pastoralism and other concerns important for living in desert Australia.
This report documents the value of video to enable Aboriginal people to locally manage the process of recording, communicating and archiving this important knowledge.
