This report provides the results of a survey undertaken in 2007 to determine farm forestry information needs and preferred methods of receiving and accessing information.

The report aims to assist the Joint Venture Agroforestry Program and those in research, policy and extension who seek to understand or prepare material to meet farm forestry information needs.

Farm forestry is a diverse sector. Similarly, the sector has diverse needs for information and various means for receiving information. There is no simple method for delivery of information to this sector. Rather, a range of different mechanisms are needed to provide information that is required by people in each aspect of the industry. This project was commissioned by JVAP to provide an update on farm forestry stakeholder information needs, in particular farm forestry landholders, extension and processors, and to determine ways in which farm forestry stakeholders seek and wish to use information.
