Objective Summary
Professor Dawkins is an internationally renowned researcher on farm animal welfare and Professor Kidd,from the University of Arkansas undertakes significant research in amino acid, mineral and enzyme nutrition, broiler and turkey breeder management and nutrition. Professor Kidd will be the keynote speaker for the “Energy vs Protein and Amino Acids – How to Strike a Balance” session and also present on “Progeny performance: current research and US field perspectives” in the “Emerging Technologies in Poultry Research” session. Professor Dawkins will present on both “Welfare and efficiency in poultry production” and “Automated assessment of health and welfare in commercial broiler chicken flocks using optical flow” in the “Poultry Welfare – Driving changes across the industry”.
