Summary

This project will provide selected emerging industries with a Compact Business Case that they can use to drive awareness of their industry and gain future investment to assist with industry growth. The Compact Business Case provides a concise overview of the industry. It does not provide the depth of detail found in a full-length Business Case. The Compact Business cases will be developed through information gained from stakeholders through consultation webinars, industry workshops & desktop research.

 
The selected emerging industries that will have a Compact Business Case Developed are:

Objective Summary

The objective of the project is to drive awareness, future investment and growth within emerging rural industries, by identifying and documenting:

• The market opportunities
• Development challenges and ways to overcome
• Current industry status (market characteristics, production regions, stakeholders, supply chains etc.)
• Competition and competitive advantage
• Current and potential industry value
• Current and potential funding sources.

At the closure of the project, the selected emerging industries will each have a published Compact Business Case which can be used to drive awareness of their industry and gain future investment to assist with industry growth.
