Objective Summary
Deliverables of the project:
– Establishment of a web-based forum which can be used to address specific issues.
– Understanding of the stakeholders’ views and background on targeted welfare topis.
– Publication of peer-reviewed scientific papers to disseminate the findings.
Once established, the forum will have the potential to expand to other animal industries or particular issues.
This project will allow identifying current or future issues surrounding a particular topic, and more specifically identifying the characteristic that are or may likely be problematic. By observing the discussion within groups, the amount of divergence across stakeholders can also be assessed.
