Objective Summary

1. To develop protocols for laboratory inoculation and assessment of virulence of entomopathogenic fungi (bio-pesticide) for darkling beetle control including assessment of field isolates. 2. To undertake preliminary investigations of entomopathogenic nematodes for beetle control. 3. To determine in the laboratory if diatomaceous earths synergise entomopathogenic fungi.
