Summary

This project involves the development of research, development and extension (RD&E) snapshots for five of AgriFutures Australia’s levied industries – chicken meat, thoroughbred horses, honeybees and pollination, kangaroos and tea tree oil.

The RD&E Snapshots are effective tools to inform stakeholders about the depth and breadth of activities undertaken as part of each program. Each will contain a series of engaging, well-written newspaper-style articles about the various projects underway, highlighting the work undertaken, the findings and the implications for industry. 
The key aim of the Snapshots is to increase awareness of the projects and enhance adoption rates of the findings and/or recommendations among industry participants, to ensure a more profitable and sustainable industry.
The contracted provider will produce the Snapshots in a template created by the AgriFutures Australia Publications Manager. The Snapshot, along with photos, will then progress to graphic design and printing
