The AgriFutures Goat Fibre Program aims to direct targeted research, development and extension (RD&E) that contributes to the profitability, sustainability and productivity of this industry.
AgriFutures is seeking quotations from suitably qualified organisations to develop Goat Fibre Sustainable
Production Guidelines and a Production Manual for use by the goat fibre industry. It is envisaged that these resources will form the basis of an auditable quality management system.
Through this response, experienced project management, production and quality assurance specialist Schuster Consulting Group proposes to deliver against all project requirements identified in the Request for Quotation.

1) Consult with industry to develop relevant guidelines for sustainable mohair production and a production manual that can be used as a basis for an industry wide quality management system.
2) Draft the manual to meet all relevant standards and requirements.
3) Develop recommendations for adoption of quality systems by Australian mohair producers.
4) Prepare publication to meet AgriFutures Australia Final Report requirements.
5) Prepare publication of Goat Fibre Sustainable Production Manual for printing, completing design for
publication in consultation with AgriFutures Australia communication team.
6) Make presentations at the Mohair Australia AGM or another relevant industry meeting.
