Summary

The project incorporate the results of a grower survey to correlate bacterial wilt occurrence with crop management and filed trials to evaluate management strategies for bacterial wilt, including factors influencing inoculum decline in infected paddocks. The outcomes of the research will reduce the number of positive seed paddocks and provide an information package on improved management of bacterial wilt.

Objective Summary

Assess the impact of crop management on presence of bacterial wilt (BW) of lucerne. Determine factors affecting decline of bacterial wilt inoculum in an infected lucerne stand (s).
