Objective Summary

1. To undertake a Local Lymph Node Assay in Mice (OECD429) to identify the contact allergenic potential of tea tree oil in order to provide a rational basis for risk assessment to the sensitising potential of tea tree oil to humans. 2. To test the allergenic potential of tea tree oil when administered to the skin of guinea pigs in order to provide a rational basis for risk assessment to the sensitising potential of tea tree oil to humans.
