Summary

The project will provide data and evidence for local producers about
a. the value of using drone technologies (infra-red and sensors) to monitor paddocks for FOO and sheep temperatures to increase animal welfare, and
b. the value of continuously monitoring the temperature of pigs using infra-red technologies for early identification of infection and lowering of death rates.
c. the value of using technologies to increase profitability for their enterprise

Objective Summary

Increased level of understanding of the use of drone technologies (infra-red and other sensors) in the agricultural industries to improve animal welfare and, ultimately, profitability. Increase confidence in the adoption and implementation of new technologies within the workplace or enterprise.
