Ever thought about what life is like on a remote cattle station?
In this podcast, we hear from university student Emma Moss who is doing exactly that. Her dream to “go north” became a reality when she drove more than 5,000 kilometres to start work on Nerrima Station in the Kimberley region of WA.
She documented the experience and, in the process has 20,000 devoted followers.
Emma is passionate about Australian agriculture and is an AgriFutures Horizon Scholar, sponsored by Meat and Livestock Australia.
You don’t have to be studying an agriculture degree to apply for the Scholarship. You can also apply if you’re studying degrees like Veterinary Science, Agribusiness, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) courses with a focus on agriculture.
Applications for the 2021 AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship are open until midnight January 15, 2021 so hurry, apply now.
