The objective of the Pasture Seeds R&D Program is to facilitate the growth of a profitable and sustainable pasture seeds industry based on a reputation for reliable supply, domestically and internationally, of a range of pasture species.
The Pasture Seeds Five Year R&D Plan 2008-2013 addresses five major research objectives:
Objective 1: Knowledge collection and dissemination
Objective 2: Seed production technologies
Objective 3: Environment
Objective 4: Emerging sciences
Objective 5: New products and markets
RIRDC produces Research in Progress summaries of continuing projects and those completed during 2007-2008. Our intention is to:
– give stakeholders early access to the results of ongoing and completed work to inform their decisions; and
-inform researchers of results to shape research directions.
