Describes the efficacy of a tea-tree / hydrogel wound dressing (known to provide rapid cooling and fast relief of all skin reactions) to induce pain relief and healing of skin reactions and wounds. This dressing has been compared to a control group receiving another commonly used dressing. The trend suggests that the tea tree oil dressing is a product which impacts on radiotherapy patients’ skin integrity and comfort, and therefore quality of life.
