Since 1993, as core to the curriculum of the Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) program at the University of Queensland Gatton College, final year undergraduate students have engaged in commercial market research in Asia on behalf of fee-paying Australian commercial clients. This project, called “Thinking of Asia”, carries half the final semester’s marks for each student. Forty per cent of those marks are awarded by the client, not the University.
