Summary

I will present a conference paper at this congress. This Paper is Co Authored with Mr Basil Baldwin. This conference is sponsored by the International Society for Horticultural Science and will be published aas refereed article in Acta Horticulture. Basil Baldwin and I were invited by the conference organisers. Basil has recently suffered multiple broken vertebrae due a tractor accident and is unable to participate. This paper is related to Basil’s previous RIRDC project “hazelnut variety assessment for South Eastern Australia, as well as current RIRDC project PRJ-005700 – Water use and the irrigation requirements of hazelnuts in Australia.

The Paper is entitled : “The Status and Future Challenges for the Australian Hazelnut Industry”
