Hay fodder field walk

Rows of green crops grow in a large, open field under a partly cloudy sky. A dirt path runs between the rows, and the horizon is visible in this rural, agricultural scene typical of Australia.

SLR invites you to attend a field walk across three fodder trials.

  • Hear from hay exporters and InterGrain oat breeder Allan Rattey
  • Various oats, awnless wheat and hooded barley varieties
  • Deep sowing to chase soil moisture stored at depth vs dry shallow sowing
  • Pre emergent herbicide weed efficacy/ oat crop safety
