Report: Evaluating trends in agronomic practices for export oaten hay in South Australia and Victoria
Oaten hay industry surveys reveal trends in varieties, hay quality, yields and RD&E priorities across SA and VIC.

The ART (Attract, Retain and Train) of Export Fodder Academy is a practical training program designed to build the skills of machinery operators, growers and industry professionals working across Australia’s export fodder supply chain.
Delivered by the Australian Fodder Industry Association (AFIA), the Academy focuses on improving safety, productivity and operational knowledge, while helping participants produce high-quality export hay and maximise the performance of specialised fodder machinery.
Participants will gain hands-on experience and industry insights covering machinery operation, hay production practices, quality assurance and supply chain requirements. The program also provides valuable networking opportunities with industry leaders and peers from across the export fodder sector.
The Academy is proudly supported by the AgriFutures People and Capability Program.
