The purpose of good grazing management is to achieve desired production levels that can be maintained over decades without the condition of the pasture or the land deteriorating. It can allow indigenous pastoralists to use their traditional knowledge to participate in Caring for our Country in a practical way on their own properties. It also complements Working on Country Initiatives.
